Description
We’re always hunting for new origins and farms we can work with, and that can often lead us to wonderful coffees and opportunities to help good people and projects, if only in the short-term. This is one such moment and we gladly bring to you this amazing specialty Arabica coffee from one of the most beautiful countries in the world, Rwanda. Although not specifically direct trade it is nonetheless a great traceable coffee supporting good people and projects. For now this is a guest coffee.
The Twongerekawa Coko Cooperative, located in the Northern Province, Gakenke District (north of the capital, Kigali), started in 2010 with objectives of increasing the quality of Rwanda coffee, especially members and coffee farmers in the region. It is grown at high altitude in volcanic soil, and nurtured well to produce this fantastic high-scoring speciality coffee.
