It honestly takes quite a lot to get me excited about a new product, often I think it’s a distraction or a hassle to stock, or maybe even a compromise on what I really want us to offer in way of quality, price or ethical value. But not with these – ecoffee cups – created from the worlds fastest growing sustainable crop, naturally organic bamboo fibre and non-GMO corn starch, they are beautiful; a true sustainable alternative, and so well-priced at only £9 each, boxed and gift ready!
This is how they describe their cups:
The bamboo fibre is naturally sterile, lovely to drink from and won’t taint the flavour of your drink. It’s also super light and comes with a resealable no-drip lid maing it perfect to take with you wherever you go. The whole product is now fully dishwasher safe and should last for years if you treat it nicely. Of course. it can break if you abuse it and it not suitable for microwaves.
When you’re finished with it you can simply crush it, soak it in boiling water and bury it with your organic compost to start the biodegrading process. The food grade silicone and sleeve can be recycled – and we’re working on making that biodegradable too!
